Goodbye!!

I am leaving in the morning for staging! It is still very surreal. I will miss everyone very very much, and I hope we are all able to stay in touch!!
I feel like I got to do most of what I wanted before I left...saw Chris Pureka, Ms. Led, went to the ocean, and eastern washington. It has been a crazy last few weeks! I feel like I have forgotten something important, but I just don't know what....hopefully it is all in my head!
Well, I am going to attempt to get some sleep...but who I am I kidding, I haven't really slept in like three days!
My next post will be from Jordan after I get my blog approved! Wish me luck!

Amazing!!

I want to share what happened today with anyone who will listen!! Last week my car was broken into and all of my PC documents were stolen...well, today they were returned! Some wonderful wonderful person returned them to my front doorstep where I discovered them a few minutes ago! I have actually had a very stressful day and so this truly made my stress level drop by one million percent!

Staging Information

I booked my ticket to Washington DC today for staging. I leave on the morning of July 4th. The guy who booked my ticket told me that I will be in DC in time to see the fireworks over the Captiol...which would be very cool.
I am leaving in two weeks from tomorrow. I am going to Eastern Washington for a few days and then I am coming back and moving out of my apartment and back to my parent's house until I leave...in two weeks from tomorrow!

Less then one month!

I am leaving in a little less then 4 weeks....its still surreal! Next week I am training my replacement at work, and then I am free for a few weeks to get in all my goodbyes. I felt like I had a lot of time, but now my departure date is creeping up on me, and I am starting to realize I better fit everything in really really quick!! I am hopefully going to the ocean for a few days here soon, and next week is my birthday...and we all know how much I love my birthday :)
I got a CD yesterday from the Peace Corps with pictures of Jordan, and some basic Arabic phrases and I have been looking at it pretty much non-stop.
Not much else to update on. I have convinced my roommate to go shopping with me to help me find appropraite clothes, at least enough to get me started, and the idea of packing is very daunting...exactly what does one pack for two years!?

Peace Corps-Jordan

Hello Everyone,
As most you know, I will be leaving the first week of July for Jordan where I will be a Peace Corps trainee for three months, and then a volunteer for 2 years.
I am setting up this blog so that I can keep in contact with everyone while I am gone.
In a few weeks I will be receiving my staging information, and I will know then exactly what day and time I am leaving. I will be in Washington DC for about two days before flying to Jordan.
I will update this when I know more information.
